  3. I like to think of the people who, that after some sort of economic doomsday, are forced to live in such structures as living inside the decomposing carcass of a fallen society. How they live through the various seasons of the year. How they adapt as the house, as the neighborhood around it, continue to decay and fall apart. My favorite day would be a damp, cold early winter day with a steady wind. The water from the well has gotten oily and you have to set it on fire and let it burn-out before you can use it. Even then you don’t want to drink it. And all the wood from all the dying trees is damp and can’t be lit to start a fire to get warm by. And the feeling of being hungry most of the time.
