  1. I’m glad “Closed for Renovations” was given a nationwide release. I’ve been looking forward to finally seeing it in theaters. Last time I tried to buy tickets, I waited outside for a long time and eventually gave up.

  2. This is the building equivalent of your dad saying he’s going out to buy some cigarettes and then never coming back.

  3. *Renovations* was the name of the old man who played the piano for silent films before talkies came around.

If anyone makes it far enough inside to catch a glimpse of the screen, they’ll hear his music. And that’s the last thing they ever hear.

  4. If I’m not mistaken, that’s the store in New Reno where you can stock up on laser rifles to really put a dent in those deathclaws.

  6. Dont show me that. Our local theater is “Closed for renovations” and I’m scared it wont open up again.

  7. The twist is they were renovating it to look like an evil old cinema, the project is near completion.

    OPENING SOON!

  8. I know this is a good thing but I hate how in Iceland ones a building is abandoned it’s almost immediately torn down unless a company buys it. I always wanna roam around old abandoned places but it’s so hard to come buy except maybe some houses and farms on the countryside which usually are blocked off anyway.

  9. This looks like the outdoor set from the Watchmen film. I haven’t passed by it for years now, but it was kept up and used for other productions for many years afterward.
