  1. It actually was an evil building. It was used to produce Acetylene. Built in the woods, so the nearby village was safe in case of an explosion.

  2. This is nitpicking, but I feel like the doormat at the front of the stairs doesn’t fit with the overall look and feel of the image

  3. It doesn’t look like a the photo was taken as leaves naturally fall in the autumn, because they’re all too big and close. Instead of enhancing the scene, they stick out and distract from it.

    I think the reason this bothers me so much is that I really like the underlying scene. I wonder if the photographer published a leafless version.
