  1. Old farmhouses like this litter the rural Midwest. Makes you wonder what happened to cause them to be abandoned.

  2. These kind of houses always triggering me wanting to go inside if I see them in this sub. I my country there are no such houses to be found unfortunately,I think!

  7. So you’re saying that the undead live there?

    Or that the living get there and die, then leave?

    What happens if you’re a ghost and you go there?

    I mean it’s confusing, like do the undead come back to life there because the nonliving now live or that the people that do live there have like super boring lives that aren’t really considered “living” or is it like a retirement home or what?

  9. There are a lot of abandoned farmhouses where I’m from. They always give me a feeling of sadness. What if there is a now elderly person driving by, remembering their childhood home?

  11. That’s the kind of place you want to hole up in during a zombocalypse. Security through obscurity. Zombies shambling past would glance at it, and keep going. “No.. I mean, look at it. I’m sure we’ve already got our best unpeople on that.”
